frog has different colored heads?

I picked up a frag of frogspawn over the weekend and it has 2 very distinct and different colors from the heads. One head is a typical green with purple tips while another head is a deep purple with light purple tips.

Anyone else have one out there that they could share pics of?

Nice! I've been looking for something like that. Frogspawn is my favorite LPS! I just have two different colors and I just put them beside each other, but it's not the same effect. Hope I can find one like that sometime soon.

w00t sorry nikee but i just got a frogspawn with bright green/purple tips. and i love it.
haha some tips are even half purple and half green-looks real nice.

Yeah Jay - that looks very similar. Under my lighting it looks darker green and darker purple though. I'll try to get some pics later on.

I used to have one with alternating heads of green tips and purple tips. But lost it due to heat issue in my tank awhile back. I know there are people out there who have frags of it though. One of my favorites also.

Hey guys! I have got that variation :) got it from a local and have seen it at the LFS as bi color frogspawn for lots of $$ I frag it often

I have one that has green AND purple tips all on the same head. There are a few heads that have more purple tips than others....

This is an old pic of it. I've broken the entire thing into two pieces now, and each piece is now bigger than what you see in the pic.

mine looked different. green and purple came out of the same head. it wasnt doing good in my tank so i gave it to a friend.

Dude, that's dirty...I need one so bad. Everyone's pictures makes me wanna cry; they're all so pretty. Hopefully I can find one at a LFS tomorrow...fingers crossed!

I have one that looks similar. It was sold to me as a frogspawn/hammer hybrid. I don't care either way, it's a beauty no matter what it is.
