Doesn't look like a nassarius to me, I don't see a snorkel. Why do you say it's a bad snail?

I have a few different snails that reproduce in my system, banded trocus and some conch. lately I have been seeing alot of empty shells, when before I have verry few my snails live forever. I have alot of snails that just sort of appear..


My buddy showed me a snail he said came from some LR i gave him and said he saw it kill another snail. I looked in my syetm and only see 1-2 and never saw one do anything bad.

today I saw this one attack a big tonga nassarius snail. and I have been seeing more of them now that im paying attention. Im wondering how big a problem they might be and I like to know what things are.

That pic is kinda like looking up your butt to tell who you are. Can you get a pic that shows a length-wise view, preferably a dorsal pic and one of the opening, with the animal withdrawn?

OK, I'll go ahead and ID it without dorsal/ventral pics, but you only get a 95% guarantee that I'm right, since I can't see the rest of the shell :)
