Did you try emailing Digital Aquatics? That would be faster than asking here.

Can you post a picture of the break point for the benefit of the rest of us?

Meant to say where it tightens to the black brace

i thought the bracket would be strong enough and i also thought i didn't over tighten, but I guess I must have in order for it to snap. There's a very large gap difference, it's on a 20g sump. Ive already fixed it with Weldon and overall like the bracket. Was really easy to setup the ATO

You do not have to tightent the screw all the way to the point it snaps!! Jsut enough to hold it up a little. It is ok if it leans a little. I ahve 1/8 acrylic on my sump and I just screw it down to the bottom and stop. That is more than enough to keep the bracket steady. If you want, you could get a small wodd block (or plastic) to fiut behind the screw, just again only tighten untilit stops, lightly finger tight at most.

Regards,

Andy

Yeah i must have overtightened, it just didnt feel like i did. I really like the bracket and for topping off its doing well so far. Hoping to setup my second bracket and float switch for the nano soon

Ouch, right on the stress point too. The Weld-On should do just fine for keeping it stable. Thanks for posting.
