What is everyone's thoughts relative to using a uv sterilizer on a reef tank? What size would be needed for a 220 gallon tank?

uv Sterilizer work good they keep your tank water clear also killes harmful bacteria. Theres many different types of sterilizers you can look at and for the size you would need 18w or bigger.

also destroys(kills) all algea...including coraline...so dont expect to see too much of that in your tank...BTW...I use a UV aswell.

I swear by my Current Usa 15W Gamma UV sterlizer on my 155 gallon AGA. Should be ok but for a few bucks more you can do the 25W. Good Luck!
