OK, I have read a little about hatching brine shrimp and am trying to work out all of the details. I have seen 2 methods and would like to know which is better.
method 1 is to make a solution with 1 tablespoon of rock salt per 1/2 gallon of ro/di water.
method 2 is to make a solution with 2 cups of tank water from your sw tank and add 1/2 cup ro/di water.
What is the optimal salinity and is ph important? If I use tank water obviously ph will be higher than if i use rock salt method.
Can you keep brine long term and grow them to adult size? I would like to raise the to adults and feed them to increase their nutritional value. I know that most say to feed within the first 24 hours so the yolk sacs are still attached but this may not be possible because of my work schedule.
