I have probobly a years supply or more of jars of food. My mom works at a corporate office for a pet store chain and when I started my tank I raided her sample stash at her house. They got the food probobly 2+ years ago. I havent used any of it but there is a nice variety. It is all still sealed but I didnt know if it gets bad when its old. It would be nice to use.

It's probably fine. I've got a can of stuff that is open and is a few years old. If it's sealed it will probably last a while. Any expiry date on it?

After I open it up I put it in the refrigerator. When you open it up , then it will only last so long.

Most of the fish food I have ever purchased
has ex dates.....but I would assume that your food
would be ok ,provided you keep it in the refrigerator,
however I would think that after a while might not taste as
good to the fish.
