What is the best way to get rid of coralline algae in an SPS tank? I can keep it off the glass but alot grows on the rock. Are urchins SPS safe? Which is best? I have alot of coralline growth - does that indicate a problem with water parameters or lighting? Is there a problem other than aesthetics?
Thanks in advance

google diving in bali, maldives and red sea. You will sea (yes pun intended) off the hook coralline growth in the photos. Enjoy it.

Thanks for the replies!
I worry that the coralline will impact the porosity of the rock work - but I guess I will leave it alone

an urchin will work, but it will knock your corals over and probably cause more problems that benefits.

You can always deplete the tank of all its Calcium. Oh wait, that would be a bad thing.
In all seriousness, coralline is a good indicator of whats going on in your tank. Sounds like things are on track.
