Buy a calcium supplement like turbo by Kent or Seachems Reef advantage. If there is trouble raising calcium then magnesium is probably low. Low magnesium makes it difficult to raise calcium.

Forget Red Sea test kit. Get the API test kit for alk it will give you a specific read out for alk. Recommended alk is 7-11dkh. The numbers you listed above are in meq/L.

First.......What Salt Mix are you using. Second........what do you have in the tank.

Are you keeping any corals ?

If you are using Instant Ocean Salt.....its a good salt, BUT low in Calcium. Its better for a fish only tank. You can use it, but you will need to sup calcium & other chemicals if you want to keep corals.

I use Oceanic Natural Sea Salt Mix......the Calcium starts out at 580. I like it for the corals. By the time the corals use it up, Its time for a water change. This just keeps the levels back in check

Here i keep them in line with:

Ca: 420
Alk: 8,4 dkh
Mg: 1350ppm

First you have to check the mg and ajust it if needed. Then, you go to Ca and Alk.

For Ca you can use CaCl2
For Alk: HCO3-
And for Mg: MgSO4·7H2O

Yes, but it's so bad!
20ppm can be resolved quickly!

You can use this calculator to do the corrections.
