I have the opportunity locally to pick up either one of these skimmers used...which one do you think would be best for my 75 mixed reef with a 55 sump/fuge?

I have the G3 with a recirc mod on a 90, 200g total water volume. pulls out lots of stuff. Very happy with it.

no comparison at all, SWC/MSX totally outperforms ASM's, and build quality is twice that of ASM.

Well...I just bought an MSX 200 with the Sicce pump that is about 3-4 months old for $150...guy was getting out of the hobby locally and just wanted to get rid of it. Did I get a good deal?

yes you did. The sicce pumps pulls triple the air of a sedra on the G series making it a no comparison.

+ on MSX or I love my octopus extreme 200 with the purple pinwheel. That mod made a HUGE diffrence. I think it was best bang for the buck. Acutally best bang for the buck would be the octopuse extreme cones that are coming out!
