Are these feather dusters?

All over my rocks, coming out of a hard white worm-like tube. Size of the "tube" is less than a pencil lead. Out thru the end looks like a really small pink feather duster. What are these and are they good or bad? TIA, Nancy

I also have a bunch of spaghetti clear worm type things that come out of them. All that stuff is good though.

I call them microdusters. I now have them in my sand bed. Looks like fields of feather dusters.
