Looking for a positive ID on this LPS.
Picked this LPS up at a frag swap almost a year ago. It's about 3.25" wide and hasn't grown much. I assumed it was an open brain. The skeleton isn't conical like my red open brain or most other open brains I've seen before. The skeleton is very stout, straight and about 2.5" - 3" long. Most of it is buried in the sand. It currently has two mouths and a couple more that seem to be developing. Tentacles wave in the current at night and it has quite the healthy appetite when fed. The color has improved over the last year. The center is neon green and the mantle has developed a pale blue tint.
Is this indeed an open brain?
