what size pump do you all suggest for a 375 reef tank?

what is the pump going to do? return from sump, closed loop, something else?

Depends on the setup... way,way too many variables. What kind of overflow are we looking at? What is the size of the sump? Do you need a high flow operation? What kind of filtering are you doing? What is the arrangement of the sump?

The MagDrives have never done me wrong though. And almost as a rule, slow flow through the sump is preferable. It's less of a headache- things go wrong slower, little to no bubbles on the worst of systems, etc.

I'd use a pump that can turn over the volume of the sump once per hour. But you can certainly do better... it's just not necessary.

If you do go faster, just don't get to thinking the sump return could be used to significantly up the turnover current of the tank. While you could, the aforementioned headaches start multiplying.

in general i try to target 5 times the display volume,
like for a 210 i think ~1000gph is a good start but like already said it depends on the setup also, if you run a manifold then your gonna need more flow, etc
