Does anyone have experience with sea sponges? I mean the big kind not the ones that come attached to live rock. I have no idea how to get them to attach to the rock and the current keeps blowing them over. Is it o.k to cut them at the base in order to place them into a hole in the rock or would that do harm to them. I know they looked attached here but they are just resting on the rocks. thanks.

I rubberband them to smaller rocks then you can place the smaller rocks in the big rocks.

It's ok to cut them if you want also. That's how I frag them.

I have no clue about attaching them I just wanted to say how beautiful they are I love sponges but I have a 34gal with a Tunze 6045 and I think its way to much flow for them.
