Orangeshoulder Tang Color Development

My orangeshoulder tang is a good 5 inches and has yet to develop any color morph, at around what size should I expect his transformation?

It varies. I've seen pretty small ones with the beginning of adult coloration, but I've also seen some that were pretty big, 5-6", by the time they started the color change. Just feed it a healthy diet, make sure its needs are met, and wait.

Maybe he/she is just too happy that theres no need for a change.

He/She is practically round from all the nori, pellets, flakes, frozens that I feed.

I have now had one for 2 years and it looked like it was changing but then went back to the yellow color. It is about 5" long and I am waiting for it to change as well.
