Acetabularia Tea Cup Algae --- Hermits love it!

I went to a lot of trouble to bring some mermaid's tea cups home from a Florida vacation. My hermits loved it! It was all gone within a day. I hope it comes back!

I would tell those hermits to pack there shell and hit the waves! It may come back but whatever does come back your hermits are going to keep it mowed I would suggest taking them out if you want to keep it.

It may not be all of the hermits fault. I live here, have a nice selection of plants, and it usually desolves away within a few days. Not sure why, I've brought it streight from the ocean to my tank and still it doesn't make it. I have tried metal halide and t-5's, the main display and refugium, with or with out fish-no luck, the plant just doesn't survive for me.
