I have been into reefing for about 2 years now, and I have had this tank set up since then, but it has been moved twice, most recently in November. I found this local section only a few months ago, when I bought a halide pendant from MikePowell (thanks, I have been loving it!). I never knew this section existed before then.

I have been poking around for a few months, buying selling, general posting, but never posted my tank until now. I have had a chronicle thread in reefsanctuary.com for the last year, and if anyone is interested it can be found here:

http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/reef-chronicles/34094-nstiesis-29g-chronicle-10.html

So this is my first honest reef.....(the short version)

-Started as a 20L, DIY spiral bulbs, DIY skimmer, two zoa frags
-moved to a 29g last June
-Upgraded to 130w Current Brand PC light last July
-Moved to a new house in November
-Double the rock shortly after (base rock mostly, few pieces of live)
-Added a 15g fuge fed by lifereef overflow
-Added AquaC Remora
-Switched the PC's for 150w Current Sundial MH + 64w PC Actinic
-Most recently, added a simple, dirty, drip ATO fed by an Aqualifter pump

On to some pics:

Sand has since been added to the fuge section. I also use this to grow out some xenia frags, as I have to trim OFTEN.

Shelf-o-stuff and the pendant:

Thanks for looking!

It has something to do with the % in the url. I tried to remove the img tags, but the links that came up wouldn't work at all.

%20 represents a space character in urls.....but for some reason the reefcentral software doesn't play nice with them.

Playing with the camera tonight. Not much has changed, but I got some new corals, and some things have grown, even if just a bit. I haven't seen the black cap in over a week, so naturally I fear the worst. Perc is healthy as horse, though, so that is nice.

I was bored tonight and decided to take some pictures. Thank goodness for exif data on digital photos, because I will want to remember these camera settings. These are some of the best photos I have ever taken.....if I do say so myself.......

The third new SPS.....doesn't look too hot, but I am hoping it recovers.

These are finally starting the spread since I had to destroy the main colony.

The best pic I can muster....of anything....ever, lol.

This was me playing with the Gimp......I stitched this panorama together from 3 separate portrait pics of 1/3rds of the tank. Not to different from a normal FTS, but a higher pixel count than my camera is natively capable of.

That is all!

I give up on hosting pics here. I have never seen a forum software so picky about how files are named.
