Is there any reason I shouldn't run this constantly? Just have it in a media bag atm, but works great.

You can run It all the time If you wish. Just make sure the granules aren't moving all around in the bag. They'll grind themselves to dust if the do. Phosban "AKA Granular Ferric Oxide, AKA GFO" works better in media bags in the pellet form.
The pellets are less likely to grind.

Bulk Reef Supply sells GFO in pellets. Alot cheaper Then the little Phoban containers.

I run a phosban reactor all the time and have been for 2 yrs. I change it aprox every 3-4 mos.

just make sure you change the media if you run gfo too long you could leach phosphate back into the system. but just change and put back in alot of people run gfo 24-7-365
