Skimmer help for JBJ 24 gallon

I have narrowed down to two skimmers for my JBJ 24 gallon since I am skeptical to get rid of the hood to fit the skimmer.

Please help me choose between Tunze 9002 with modified collection cup or a Sapphire Aquatics NC24. :confused:

i am also open to other options that dont make me get rid of the hood.

My opinion would be.......NONE

A 24 gallon nano ???

10% water changes weekly or 20% water changes every 2 weeks will take care of it just fine.

Everyone seems to have this thing about adding a skimmer to a nano. like on a large tank.

On a Nano tank.... If you do your water changes when you should, there is not enough there to justify buying a skimmer.

thanks Flipper, i was seeing a lot of people using a skimmer on nano so i got a little nervous.
