missing fish

So the bi-color angel I bought didn't make it, it never did eat. I have a ton of rock in my tank so started to take it all out, I never did find the fish!! In there also is a liofish and marine betta and a long spine urchin. I don't know what to make of it, and i sure don't want to take the rock out again......

A lionfish can eat a fish that doesnt appear to be able to fit in its mouth...I am guessing if you want to get your lost fish you will have to do the following...

get gloves

Net the lion fish

get the proper heart monitoring equipment

sedate the lionfish

Lay him on his side and make a 2 inch cut lengthwise on his belly

find the stomach

slice open the stomach

remove dead fish

sew up stomach

roll him into the recovery room until he wakes.....


or wait for him to poop it out....
