I bought one and placed it in my Q-tank to keep me and the QT happy. It is a beautiful fish with an orange body. Does anyone have one of these fish? I am wondering how it behaves with other damsels. I am thinking of adding it to my DT which has a pair of old ocellaris clowns and a Allen's Damsel. DT is 240 gallons.

Thanks,

Scott

A Damsel with an orange body and a blue head? Never seen one before. If you can post a pic that would be nice.

Edit: Is it a Garibaldi?

Here is a picture. I have seen it posted as a Rolland's Damsel. They can have vibrant coloration and they are almost as orange in the back as a ocellaris clown. I am hoping it does not fade as it becomes older, but it is about 6 months old. This is a picture from the web. I bought the fish 6 months ago when it was very small. I had never seen a damsel like it in the past. They seem docile at the LFS.

I am finding more information on them. I searched when I first bought it and couldn't find much. It looks like they are very peaceful. He will sit in the QT until I finally find the regal angel I am looking for. Then he will be added to the DT while I quarentine the regal.
