I was wondering if it would be ok to move my crocea after it has already partially attached itself to the rock?

I have only had him for a little over a week and I would like to place him higher in the tank but I don't want to just peel him off of the rock that he has already attached some byssal threads to.

Any suggestions?

Slide a razor blade underneath of him and cut the threads. Or slowly hack at them from whatever angle possible to cut them.

Cut the byssal threads is not going to hurt him. I like to use sharp scissors
