I have a 50 reef tank with 342 watts of outer orbit fixture - 150w MH and two 96w compacts. I started with a major problem of hair algae, which I got rid of by lessening the light and doing more water changes. However, just plain green algae still covers up my glass tank. I can't scrape it off with my magnet cleaner and I added phosphate remover a few days ago. How do I get rid of this green algae on everything? I do 5 gallon water changes every few days but that doesn't seem to help.

Help! =]

Could be coraline algae. Use a razor blade to scrape it off. I just bought a wide paint razor with a plastic handle at wally world, plus extra blades as saltwater will eat them for lunch. Works good, unless it's acrylic.
