Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm new to the RO/DI market (and don't have much plumbing experience).

With the use of a shut off valve on your RO/DI Chloramine product, will it stop both the filtered water and the waste water; essentially shutting the RO/DI unit off when the filtered water resivor is full?

Good question!

You'll want somthing at the end of the DI output tube to stop the flow in what ever reservoir it is flowing to - something like a float valve, or some sort of top off device (we can give you more detail on this if needed).

So when this device stops the flow of DI water, an Auto Shut Off Valve (with a check valve) will sense this, and will stop the flow of waste water - so no water would be leaving the system.

Thanks for the quick response! That makes sense and would really help me out.

If you think you want to do this, you'd want to get:

Automatic Shut Off Valve, Standard #ASOV75, here:

Check Valve, In-line 1/4" #ILCV04, here:
