I plan on buying this in the next week or two for my 32"x24"x15" rimless tank I am about to set up. Anyone have this fixture? What do you recommend to hang it with? Dont they sell hanging kits?

Here's a RK mag article on hanging lights.

Yes, they do make other hangers. I believe marinedepot sells some.

thanks. I guess I need to decide wether I want to hang it from the ceiling or hang it off a bracket attached to the wall.

Here is another idea to consider, if it works for your application. Mount a decorative shelf on the wall above your aqurium, securing its brackets to studs. Then drill the shelf itself and use the included hanging kit to suspend the light. I know more than a few people that have done this due to apartment living.

I made mine out of conduit. I know it sounds cheap but I tried making it out of steel rod and everything else . Best I could do was the conduit. Painted it black and all was good. My fixture was a giesemann one but hangs about the same.
