I have seen a few pics of people "mounting" their monti's on the overflow boxes. How are they/ you doing this? Anyway I could see some pics?

I mount two of the on my overflow using epoxy pasted, just activated the epoxy, then tach it a couple of time against the overflow for small part to stick to it, then hold the bigger piece till it hold and VOILA :P

the_rider,

Thanks for the response. How high do you have yours mounted? Any pics BTW?

I don't have mine mounted on the overflow, but I do have a few mounted on the back glass. I used mag clips...eventually, the cap grew on the glass and I removed the outside portion of the magnet. I would assume the same can be done on an overflow if you don't want to mess with epoxy

I did what "the_rider" did, works pretty well. But, just remember that they will grow out, and block the light for whatever is beneath them.

Here is how my look,

Thanks for the links! I just ordered some of the frag mags!

Toddrtrex,

Your tank is awesome man. How long has it been up for? How many gallons is the system? And thanks for the ideas on how to mount my montis in a uniquie way!

Thanks a lot. I have had the tank itself for about 7 years, but about 2 years ago I re-did it. It is a 58 with a 20 gallon sump.

Your welcome man :D nice work. I was going to say that system had to be up for a while...you have some mad growth in there.

You should have seen my tabling milli that I had to move to my 75, it started out as a 1.5 inch frag, 10 months or so later it was over a foot across. :)

I used an old Koralia magnet for mine. I super glued my green cap to the magnet and then voila!
