In Los Angeles County we have been given notice (http://www.ladwp.com/ladwp/cms/ladwp009868.pdf) that we must start rationing our water.

Currently my RODI waste line routes to our house drainage and out wasting all that water. I am looking for ideas that people have come up with to plumb the waste line to a drip line of some sort that would water a small group of plants. The one thing I have been told is to try to avoid creating too much if any backpressure.

My idea is to run the waste line gravity fed to a drip irrigation drip line of some sort that will go along my yard perimeter that will feed various plants.

Ideas and comments are appreciated.
