Emergency!

My BTA was sucked into my Korlia 2 (spelling?) power head. Its foot is out but about 2/5 is in the power head. It has since "re opened" inside the power head and it cant pull it back out.

I have no clue what to do. I took out the power head, took off the cover and put it back into the tank. Will it put itself out?

If you simply lay the whole mess onto the bottom of the tank it should eventually work it own way out without to much issue. I have had BTA's do similar stuff.

You're doing the right thing just takes some time.

I agree with landlord, you have taken the best approach. Only other option would be to cut the plastic to free it but I would wait before I did that.

Are you going to place screen around the powerhead now so this will not happen again?

lol I never thought it would happen. I have heard about it. It didn't make any logical sense that he could get in that.


However.. I think I am just going to set up a new tank for him, he causes too much trouble in my 29g
