Packing it into a plastic bag keeps it moist.

Are you shipping it or hand delivering it ?

For local delivery a plastic bag is fine. I carry bagged corals in an insulated lunch container to minimize temp fluctuations.

For shipping you don't want it to leak or the shipper may delay delivery. Double bagged and in a hard sided container works for me. I've even shipped algaes in a two day priority envelope. Double bag with almost no water and put strips of styrofoam on either side of the bag so it doesn't get crushed.

I usually triple sandwich bag it with a few tablespoons of water. Then it gets wrapped in 4 or 5 layers of newspaper. I ship it priority mail and it is fine.
