I'm looking for a UV Sterilizer/Clarifier that will fit in my Aqua pod 24. I need to try to keep it in the back.
I found this, But it mat be about 1/4in to deep.

Best one to get is none. They really dont do anything substantial for your tank. And the cheaper the quality even less still. You'd be better spending your money on a good skimmer instead.

Aqua has a small 15 watt hang on back for smaller tanks. It might be what your looking for.

i saw one at petsmart a while back that looked good....9w i think & included the pump

I got the Oceanic Bio Cube UV filter & let me say.... NICE, Water was Clear over nite.

+1 IMO they are best used on multiple tank systems that want to prevent disease from spreading through the entire system. Of course I don't think they are bad, just a little overkill for most systems. I would spend the money on a skimmer as well. Keep in mind your going to have to change the bulb in that thing.

I have a skimmer but I quit using it since I so %20 water change weekly, I hope that is safe. is it?

i do a 5 gal water change EVERY week and run a uv sterelizer also and my tank is doing great so you should be fine

I would still run a skimmer. It is also good at transporting oxygen into the system. Very important IMO:D
