that looks like an icecap ballast (660) I say this because i currently have 3 just like that. I great ballast and well worth the $$ Get new bulbs (i e4ally like the URI bulbs) at www.hellolights.com - just about the best prices i could find. I have 1 actinic 03, a couple aquasuns, and a actinic white.

The fact that you have brown and purple wires says that you have an IceCap 660 harness ;)

You will find the wiring diagrams (http://icecapinc.com/informationcenter/troubleshooting) here.

If money is tight I would suggest rewiring using an ARO ballast and harness (http://www.championlighting.com/product.php?productid=18834&cat=598&page=1) . They work as well as the 660, but simply aren't dimmable.

HTH and good-luck!

Yep. If you simply buy an IceCap 660, it should plug right in and work (assuming there are no shorts or corroded ends).

What are you planning on using it for?
