overflow placement

I wanted to do an external overflow but the wife dosent like the idea so it isnt going to happen. On a 6ft 180 were would be the best place for the overflows. the tank can be seen from the front and sides.

What doesn't she like about it? Just curious, because I am so happy with the external overflow I buit, and access to it is easier as well.

For 6 feet you'd need two, or one of those very long shallow ones. I think there may be a calculator for length of overflow you'll need to handle a given flow rate. Not sure, I'm not a big tank person, just wanted to mention that I really like my weir and external overflow. :)
