Very Nice! What's the green "carpet-like" coral the clown is in?

gorgeous tank. love the aquascape. I wish I could just redo all my aquascape but it is just too much work.
how long is your tank?

Thank you very much. The tank is 8ft long. It is still a work in progress since I upsized from the 180g. Im happy with the aquascaping in the middle and right -- but still leaves much to be desired for me on th eleft side. I have to get more liverock /base rock for the left side of the tank. I think Im going to make it an entire ledge wall all the way to the top with outcroppings and caves.
Now Im startign to get picky with what to add next to the tank. My wife tells me Im lacking blue in the tank...so that will be the next addition for color.
Seth, that tank is awesome. I like the open areas. That carpet is bright! Does that flame angel nip at stuff?

Thanks Joe.
No, the flame angel has been great around the reef. I cant say the same for the Coral Beauty. I had to sell her as she did nip. I want to get a school of Anthias as the next fish addition.

Tank looks great. I love the open space. A bit easier with 8 feet versus 4 but still you did a great job aquascaping. Very nice!

Seth - GREAT looking tank! I LOVE the open aquascaping that you've got. Particularly that you used that wonderful 8' space to create separate islands of coral.
And the open space adds SO much to the aquascape. It's like Japanese Ikibana, Bonsai, or even their classical art... it's as much about what's NOT there as it is about what IS. Open space ROCKS!
That said... you need a better camera pal. I've seen that tank in person. And it kicks A** on these pics. So while these shots DO look nice. Seeing it in person is an AWESOME thing.
We'll take up a collection for the "better camera for Seth" drive at the next ARK meeting. ;)

Thanks Steve. It is just such a great hobby. I love lookingh at all the things that grow around the tank that I never intentionally bought -- i.e. the wide varitey of red, oragne, blue, black yellow sponges that are on the underside of the rocks -- and all the brittle star babies under the rocks etc. Always something new to see.
You are so right, though. I need to step up and get a better camera!!! LOL
