display tank cloudy due to micro bubbles

Need help to solve the issue. My display tank is cloudy due to micro bubbles coming from new skimmer. How will I solve the problem:

1. Use a pre-filter foam prior to return pump?
2. Use a foam filter in one of the baffles prior to sump return chamber?
3. Do both
4. Other solution????

how new is your skimmer? they take some time to break in -- a week or two, the bubbles should decrease

baffles in your sump could help as you had mentioned. i'd avoid putting foam in -- tends to collect debris. HTH

Brand new skimmer installed just yesterday morning. I will run it for a little while till it settle. Thanks, any other takers???

Put a filter sock on the return from the skimmer. You will have no more bubbles

yes a filter sock at the exit of your skimmer
