I noticed i have a few white rubbery blotches on my LR that appear to be getting bigger, they look like someone stuck chewed gum to my rocks...they are completely white, one appears to have some fuzz on it. any ideas??

they dont have any "pores" and are difficult to scrape off the rock, i scraped one off partially and it reattached to the rock the next day. ill research some possible sponges and see what i can come up with.

Rubbery sounds like it might be some type of leather coral.

ill see if i can get a picture on here, that should be easier...best description i can give...its like a smooth piece of gum, it is squishy when i put on it with my hands...ill try a pic...lol

does it have an opening somewhere on it? I have them too and it looks like that too.

sorry my camera sucks...thought it was good, till i started taking pics of my tank, who knew that a new camera would be part of the reefkeeping expenses!

what kind of sponge, i can't seem to find any info on a sponge that matches my description...
