I just added sand to my tank, and the water is crazy cloudy. Is there anything that i should do to help speed up the clearing process. it is very fine sand. Thanks!

I used filter socks and have just let it run it's course, it seems to be the same in the end.

If you have a canister filter or a HOB filter like a wisper they will clear it up quick

I have a Magnum 350 canister on it, and it is still cloudy!!

do you have filter media in the canister? A canister should clear the water in about 8 hours

Yeah, i have the micron filter in it, with the sleeve.
