Is there any reason not to make and store a high salinity salt mix and then dilute it down before using? It seems that there are several advantages--less storage space required and the high salinity is less likely to encourage undesirable bacterial growth while it is stored. Anyone do this?

I think you would have a lot of good stuff precipitation from you solution.

Check out gettankedaquariums.com
They sell a couple different types of salt mix with the Ca component separate so that a concentrated slurry can be made then utilized later when you would add the Calcium component.
Otherwise, you would have Ca and Alk precipitation in the slurry mix.
