just a color variant of Amphiprion sandaracinos. these are frequently brought in at my LFS to me as leucokranos.

Hey,
thanks for help but my point regarding idea would be doesnt this mean that some orange skunks must have a leuckranos in them.

It defiently doesnt look like a leucokranos but it looks like if you pair it with one youd def have a nice pair. There are some wild pics of leuckoranos and orange skunks. It defiently has a more blunt nose then most orange skunks ive seen and its wild caught so its not from being CB.

Ive been having a discussion with one of the leading reasearched for clownfish and leucokranos.

So far what we can gather is this is the offspring of a luecokranos and a chrystopertus(SP) or lueckranos and orange skunk.

Which means that this would indeed be a lueckranos because from that i am gathering that distinction covers a wide vareity of striping patterns seen during Dr. Gerard Allens documentation of leucokranos.

My point by showing this fish is to merely throw a wrench in the thinking that leucokranos is one striping pattern. This fish does look like a orange skunk but it has the same side head markings noted by Dr. Allen during his documentation.
