View Full Version : Can I run 55W bulbs in a 65W system?

I have a Coralife 130W PC fixture that uses two 65W bulbs. I just got my order in and they sent me 55W bulbs. Can I run these safely?

I know people push NO bulbs on VHO set-ups, so I thought should be okay, but wanted some feedback/experienced advice. Thanks,

Yes. Also IIRC it's a easier load on the ballast. Which could make it last longer.
