Please check if I got this right.

Tropic Marin adds 28ppm Ca to 5 Gal per spoon . I add 3 spoons per day in a 50 gal thus I am adding 8,4ppm (28x3/10)

1 ml Brightwell Kalk power mix adds 2.3ppm to 1 gal and thus 0.046ppm per 50 gal (2.3/50).

I would thus need 182.6 ml of this to get my 8,4ppm ? ( 8.4/0.046

Just use the reef calculator in the chemistry archives.

Using the calculater, Tank volume 50 gallons, increase your ca ppm by 8.4ppm using Kalkwasser ( fully saturated which is 2 teaspoons per gallon ) = .51 Gallons.

Or simply, 1 teaspoon of Kalk mixed to your daily topoff amount.

I've never bothered to calculate ppm of the limewater.
I mix 6 tablespoons of calcium hydroxide in six gallons (large old I.O. pail) and use it to top up all my tanks nightly, replacing all evaporated water with the full strength limewater.

Saturated limewater is about 800 ppm calcium and 40 meq/L. That's about 10 ml of kalk per gallon of water.
