Socket Expansion/EB8

I need one more outlet for my setup. If I purchase the expansion socket I would end up with 10 outlets total ( 9 controllable) right?

That is correct. There are 2 outlets on the socket expansion that plug into 1 outlet on the EB8. The 2 outlets on the socket expansion work together and can can not be controlled independently.
