MP40W failure

I have a gen 1 MP40W (and a gen2 MP40)

Recently I completed the upgrade to the gen2 magnet

I came home tonight and the wetside was on the bottom of the tank

After evaluating, the plastic base seems to be broken

What do you recommend?
