Loud ss125 pump

I have a coralife super skimmer 125 that I got used and the pump is way too loud. Is there another kind of pump that will work on it? Maybe a maxijet 1200 with a needle wheel mod?

On second look its not actually the pump, but the air line makes a lot of noise. You can hear it sucking. Is there any fix for that?
