I have an MP-40 gen 1 and the pump is good until the red light appears with the green light blinking. I do not have the sticker for the pin spacer and I am unsure of where to place the rubber spacer. I have 1/2" thick glass with the spacer right now aligned to the largest hole for the power cord. Is this a problem that is causing the techinical issue?

Thank you for your response

I do not own a MP40 but the MP40 PDF has that info in it:

Looks like you would need to back off one space for your 1/2" glass.

thanks for the reply
I have taken the spacer off and noticed that all three pins are broken off. could this be the reason for the malfunctioning? How can I fix this problem?

Pretty much guarantee that you'll need a new spacer if the pins are broken or bent.

If you've never upgraded the wet side on your Gen1 MP40 then it's very likely that some servicing could be required. Give us a call or send an email through the channels listed below and we'll help you out. You will also need a new pin spacer.

We'll be in touch ASAP. We ran out of some parts last week so carried a backlog going into the holiday weekend. Now we're working on getting out of it.
