Battery Back up question

I have the battery back up and have not had it on charge or hooked up for about 7 months and probably wont again for another 6 months. Is there anything I need to do to ensure it will work when i set up again??

I have never really used it. It was hooked up and pluged in, I just never had an outage I am aware of.

Make sure you plug it in and fully charge it prior to using it again. It's a regular sealed lead-acid battery so the standard caveats for a car battery will apply to this as well.
