The splash guard on my aquapod 24 gallon has cracked and melted a bit. Its very close to breaking all the way through and I can't seem to find a replacement splash guard. I am probably going to need to buy something from a local plastic shop. Is it ok if the plastic is thicker, will it reduce the strength of the lights? Is there any tips you have for repairing the cracked splash guard, or making a new hood if the custom splash guard doesn't work? Thanks
