I am setting up my Bulk Reef Supply RODI unit. Couple of questions:

1) Where should I place this check valve? I will be on the waste line. Should it be closest to where the 1/4" enters the drain? And yes I do know they fail but I might as well put it in.

2) Where should I put the auto shut off valve. I have the 'Plus' system and it says the Auto Shut Off is installed. It also came with what looks like another shut off valve. I think I can just use it as a manual shut off somewhere on the supply line. Probably doesn't matter as long as it is before the unit?

Am I on the right track?

Thanks

The autoshutoff valve closes when back pressure is present in the product water line to avoid back pressure in your RO unit. You can use the float valve in a container, and when the container is filled to the float valve, it will activate the autoshutoff valve.
The check valve is to avoid sewage from possibly backing into the RO unit, right? I'd put where you said.
