RSM 130D, How Quiet?

How quiet is the Red Sea Max 130D when it's running without the light cooling fans? I want to know because though I'm considering setting up a tank, I need something really quiet (pretty much no noise) because I have trouble falling asleep even with very faint sounds.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hi, greetings from Germany,

without immense modification the RSM tanks are all not silent ones.

If you are in need of a closed tank you are automatically concerned with fans for cooling down the heat produced by the lighting.

This and the skimmer, even the new version of the 130D, are very noisy.

My 130 stands beside my LCD in the living room and when I watch TV I have to shut off the skimmer to understand a word.
