I am having trouble hooking up my auto shut off valve. i am not sure if coming out of the membrane should go back into the auto shut off or should it go into the rodi then into the auto shutoff? When the float rises the way i have it now the rodi continues to fill with water and there is still water coming from the rejection line. Also i read somewhere that you need a check valve somewhere how would i know if i ahve one on here? Do es this look right or did i hook it up wrong?

yes you need the check valve between the in/out valve and the float valve. I think it needs to be a 5lb or 10 lb I cannot remember what I have. Also i had mine plumbed from my reservoir. I used a T. If you do not want a big one Spectrapure sells a small (1/2 gal) reservoir to help maintain the pressure. Again I am not sure it is necessary. Then again mine is connected to the Spectrapure ATO selenoid with the float valve as an emergency shut off.
