Ricrodea (keeping and cutting questions)

I'm considering a small florida ricordea only tank and have a few questions.

1. I've split rics that have multiple mouths but have also read you can split them even if they don't have a mouth. Is this true and is there anything else you can advise on fraggings rics?

2. What is the best lighting to keep them under? I've read anywhere from PC's to T-5's to MH's.

3. Anything else you can add about them?

with rics, aside from other shrooms, they dont take to cutting as good. so if you were to cut one with one mouth make sure you cut it down the center to include some of the mouth on both pieces...

Lighting they like all lighting but brighter lights = brighter colors.

They are beautiful!!

I've got a good start going so far. I just wanted to see if there was a good way to split them. So you're saying it better to let them spread on there own I take it.

no, im jut saying if you cut them, cut them down the center or 4 ways, so every piece you cut has part if the mouth...

You understand?
