pls help me set up QT for cupramine itch treatment

So i am making my QT its a 46 gallon bowfront
i will be treating a moderate ich breakout (first one) starting with a new hippo tang. 1 fish also has popeye from an abrasion on his eye.
unfortunatly he has the worst case of itch in the tank also
i will be using cupramine.
my question is what kind of media should i put into this filter

Any suggestions on how to do this cause it will be a first
how do i go about making biological filtration with no live sand and no live rock.
Also how will i treat the fish with the popeye and itch and what type of antiboitic do ppl use to treat this.

in my opinion its better you try hyposalinity treatment
hyposalinity and copper are the only proven 100% treatment available.
since you said this is the first time, I guess u don't know what you're doing, so hypo is a better option for you as it allows a lot more room for mistakes
if you still decide to go for copper you need to check your copper level almost daily to make sure it is right, too much and your fish die, too little and its useless

I don't know how to use copper in QT personally, but all you need is a barebottom tank with only mechanical and biological filteration.
No chemical filteration, that means no carbon or gfo or the like.
to seed the aquarium with bacteria I suggest you use the biorings or filter sock from your DT.
Or you can just use a nitrifying liquid that you get at any LFS, I think MB7 or the like.

I use the same filter on my 75 Copper treatment tank. Use the Sponge filter cartridges.

what antibiotics can i use to cure the fish who has the bacterial infection

so i fill up my QT with water add pvc pipe, and use stability.

How long will it take before i can add the fish over to the QT
